Khloe Kardashian invited some of her favorite people on over Thursday evening, October 18, to celebrate a super sweet cupcake-themed party. When the festivities were over, the new mom took to Instagram to post an equally sweet tribute to Kris Jenner. Read on to check out snaps from the party and to see Khloe’s kind words!
In addition to the sugary confections, the party and its decorations featured various shades of turquoise and royal blue.
Most of the Kardashian-Jenner clan turned up to celebrate and indulge in a few baked treats. Scott Disick came with his kids, as did Kim Kardashian and her three little ones.
Baby True, who was all dressed up in her tutu and unicorn hat, got to share an adorable shot with her great-grandma MJ.
Kim also posted a video of Saint, Chicago, and Reign lounging on the grass and getting ready to tuck into an impressively large confetti cake. Little Chi wasted no time digging in and claiming a bite before all of her older cousins!

When bellies were stuffed and the sweets were gone, a sentimental Khloe took to Instagram to post a picture of her, True, and Kris. She explained, “This is a 'Just Because' post.”
“Thank you does not begin to describe the amount of respect, appreciation and LOVE that I have for you, but I do need you to know that you are my hero. I hope to live up to the mom you have been to us. (Regardless of what Kourt thinks JK lol) seriously, how did WE get so lucky to have you? WE have the cheat codes to mommy-hood,” she wrote.
The 34-year-old continued, “Thank you for being selfless. You continuously put us before yourself and you never think twice about it. (Except when it comes to paid Instagram posts but I ain’t mad at you for gettin that money honey).”
“Thank you for being one of my very best friends, but most of all, thank you for being my mommy. If I could, I would choose you a million times!!” she ended finally.
