Kim DePaola isn’t taking any chances! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star bolted to the West Coast after a horrifying twist of fate tied her to a disturbing double homicide in Paterson, NJ, over the weekend. Kim’s Audi was discovered burned out with two bodies inside on Friday morning, and the victims have since been identified as Antonio Vega, Jr., and Aaron Anderson, who had dropped Kim’s son Chris Camiscioli off at the airport the previous day. This is the first time Kim has been seen in public since the tragedy occurred.
Despite the tragic circumstances, Kim appeared to be in a good mood as she shopped and chatted on the phone.
The Bravo star has been vocal in her support for the victims’ families on Instagram. Both men leave behind children. “I am praying for the families , and babies left behind !! RIP,” she wrote in one caption.
Kim also exclusively told RadarOnline.com she believes the murders are “gang related. Maybe they pissed someone off and they’re making a statement. I hope they find these savages.”

Two men were arrested in connection with the crime on Tuesday morning, Clarence Williams and Gerry Thomas, but both have pled not guilty to the charges of murder and arson, New Jersey News 12 reported.
Aaron’s mother, Michele Ryerson, told CBS New York she’d spoken with Kim on Monday and said the Jersey native was “devastated about it all.”
