Kim Kardashian Given 1 Hour To Evacuate Home As Wildfires Close In

Kim Kardashian was forced to flee her home on Thursday as her entire neighborhood was threatened by quickly spreading wildfires. The mom-of-three took to Instagram and documented the harrowing experience and shared graphic footage of the destruction. Read on for all the details.

Initially, the KKW Beauty mogul filmed the flames while she was safely in her private jet. At the time she had no idea that those same fires would head toward her own home just moments later.
Upon her arrival, she quickly learned that she would be forced to evacuate. She wrote, “Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe.”
In addition to asking her followers to “Pray for Calabasas,” the 38-year-old also thanked the first responders. She wrote “Fire fighters are arriving. Thank you for all that you do for us!!!”

She recorded a bevy of firetrucks and police cars driving down the streets of her neighborhood before explaining, “They’re evacuating everyone right now from all of our homes.”
Unfortunately, Kim wasn’t the only member of her family who was forced to quickly leave her house. Over on her instagram, big sister Kourtney shared a snap of her packed car. She wrote “I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires. No Calabasas tonight.”
The city of Calabasas has since tweeted that these Woolsey Fires have “grown to over 2,000 acres with 0% containment.”
