Usually it's like mother, like daughter. But for Kim Kardashian, it's like grandmother, like granddaughter! It turns out she and Mary Jo have way more in common than fans thought, as both had super short marriages.
On her website and app, Kim laughed about her doomed 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, though it certainly was no laughing matter at the time. “We have a lot in common. We both got married for two months once,” she said.
Decades prior, Mary Jo married her high school sweetheart. “I can’t believe it because I was married for two months at 18. Right out of high school I was given an engagement ring, a guy I had been going with for four years,” she said.
“And then I just thought, ‘You know what? This isn’t really that much fun,’ so I got out of it. Once you got married you realized it. ‘What did I do?’ And you try to stay in there for a month or so and really try hard and you just can’t. You think, ‘I shouldn’t waste his time,’ ” she added.

Kim of course understood. “Yes! I get it, grandma. I feel you,” Kim said. As Kardashian fans know, Kim knew her marriage to Kris wouldn't last rather quickly.
She told Andy Cohen earlier this year, “At the time I just thought, ‘Holy sh**, I’m 30-years-old -- I better get this together. I better get married,’” she admitted. “I think a lot of girls do go through that, where they freak out thinking they’re getting old and all their friends are having kids. So, it was more of that situation. But I knew on the honeymoon it wasn’t going to work out.”
