Although Kim Kardashian has not commented on the controversy caused by the first photo of her fourth child Psalm, a source recently revealed that she is well aware and "knows how to keep her newborn safe." Scroll through for all the details.
As OK! readers know, Kim, 38, revealed baby Psalm's name on Friday, May 17, along with a screenshot of a text exchange she had with husband Kanye West.
The post included a photo of the swaddled newborn surrounded by a cushy crib bumper and other soft objects in a crib, which alarmed alarmed several people.
"Please please please go pay an overpriced ‘sleep consultant’ to get all that unnecessary padding, bumpers, and blankets out of your child’s crib so they are not at risk for Sudden Infant Death syndrome. I’ve tried and failed to resuscitate too many children that have died this way. Signed, an ER doctor," one Twitter user wrote at the time.

While many people were concerned, others assumed that the KKW Beauty founder had just staged Psalm like that for the photo — and they were right!
“Kim is aware that she got negative comments about the photo of Psalm,” a source told People.
“It was a split-second, staged photo,” the insider added. “As a mother of four, she very much knows how to keep her newborn safe in the crib. Again, it was staged for a photo.”
