In a revealing article for Wealth Simple, Kim got real about the role money played in her life growing up, and how she’s passing along lessons to her and husband Kanye West’s children—North, 5, Saint, 2, and Chicago, 5 months.
She confessed the following; “I worry about giving my kids too much. We don’t do gifts.” Whoa!
But the 37-year-old had a good explanation for that. “They have to really earn it. We talk about it all the time, about not getting too much and just trying to be as grounded and well-rounded as possible,” she said.
As of May 2018, it was reported that Kim is worth a staggering $175 million.
Right on her heels is her hubby, who in 2018 reportedly takes home $160 million. Even with those whopping paychecks, they have still raised their kids to appreciate hard-earned money. Kudos!
