Kim Kardashian took to her Instagram very early on Sunday to wish her late father Robert Sr. a Happy Father’s Day in a very touching and emotional post.

Kim has been surrounded by her loving family and friends this week, as she spent most of it in New York City for her daughter North’s 5th birthday.

Her husband Kanye West and best friend Jonathan Cheban was also there for the birthday festivities, as they made their way through The Big Apple and had a blast in doing so.

She also had family by her side last night in Los Angeles, as the media mogul attended the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards with her “momager” Kris Jenner

Kim posted a throwback photo with her late father Robert Sr. on Instagram early Sunday, which also happened to be Father’s Day. He died on September 30th, 2003, only eight weeks after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He was 59 years old.

"I know I’m posting this early but you’re so heavy on my mind tonight. Happy Father’s Day to the best dad in the world. I miss you so much dad,” she captioned the photo.

On a happier note, she also shared a photo of Kanye with North on his shoulders, saying "Happy Father’s Day babe. Thanks for being such a good dad to our babies! Shout out to all of the amazing dads out there!”
