When Kim Kardashian sat down with Real 92.3's Big Boy, she talked about the time North West asked her why she was famous — and how awkward it was. Read on for more details.

"'Mom, why are you famous?'" Kim said, imitating little 5-year-old North. "And I was like, 'Oh, okay,'" the makeup mogul added, looking off. "I'm gonna have to explain this right now."

"And I'm like, 'We have a TV show, we have a TV show," Kim says smiling. The DJs in the room laughed, obviously thinking about that sex tape that launched Kim into the public eye.

"And she was like 'Okay,'" Kim continued. "That was the first time when she was like 'Oh!'" as in connecting the dots of the Kardashians' fame.

When Big Boy asked if North has more money than them, Kim laughed, saying "North is good."

This wasn't the only awkward family moment Kim's had recently. She also got into a blowout argument with Kourtney, calling her the "least exciting to look at" in the family, and she came at Kourtney's ex-boyfriend Younes Bendjima after they broke up.
