June 6 2019, Published 10:55 p.m. ET
Kris Jenner led everyone to believe that Rob Kardashian got his Instagram ban lifted on Wednesday, June 5, but that's not exactly the case. The momager and her company Jenner Communications will run his new official account because he's still not allowed on the social media platform.
Kris, 63, posted a screenshot of the account to her own page and wrote, "Everyone go follow @robkardashianofficial!!!"
It quickly amassed 369,000 followers, and fans assumed the reclusive reality star was allowed back on the social media platform.
However, he's still banned for posting"revenge porn" nude photos of ex Blac Chyna back in July 2017.

Kris and her company will be in charge of the content and Rob is allowed to have very little involvement. The Kardashian matriarch and her team will promote his Arthur George sock line and post other paid endorsements under his name.
The move appears to be a business decision. Rob sold his stakes in Arthur George to his mother after he could no longer afford to keep the brand afloat.
While most of the current posts are product related, there are a few photos of his daughter Dream scattered throughout to make it look like a personal page.
