Kristin Cavallari is telling the truth and nothing but it in her new book, Balancing in Heels! The reality TV star opens up about her marriage to Jay Cutler, her time on the hit MTV show Laguna Beach, and the ups and down of motherhood.

First off, there was some intense fakery happening on Laguna Beach! Scenes were filmed months apart and then sequenced concurrently on the show and many times phone calls were faked!

Kristin revealed the MTV producers even caused problems in her very real relationship with Stephen Colletti.

"Surprisingly, the producers had a bigger effect, as they controlled and mapped our lives more than we were aware. One of the most hurtful things they did was pressure Stephen to spend time with another girl from our show, Lauren, while he and I were dating,” she admitted.

The producers also capitalized on Kristin’s emotions. "I was only 17! I had some anger stored up from my parents' divorce and my new stepfamilies, which the producers saw,” she said. “They put me in situations where they knew I would react.”
