Yesterday, December 6, a new clip of Keeping Up With The Kardashians was released and then promptly taken down. In it, Kim Kardashian addressed the controversial comments Kanye West made about slavery as a “choice.” However, the KUWTK star misquotes his original statement.

In the clip, Kim told the cameras, “I always know what Kanye’s intentions are and what he’s trying to say, but I also know that they’re going to write a headline and people are gonna assume that that’s exactly what you said and what you meant.”

She continued, “He didn't say slavery is a choice, he was saying if you're going to still be enslaved for another 400 years then that's some bulls**t.”

However, Kanye's actual statement was, “When you hear about slavery for 400 years, for 400 years? That sounds like a choice. Like, you was there for 400 years and it's all of y'all?”

According to reports, Kim immediately had the network take down the clip once she realized that she misquoted Kanye. The clip will also not be shown in the next episode of KUTWK.

Despite Kim defending Kanye’s comments, she admitted at the time she was upset by it. “I rushed home, I was hysterically crying,” she said.
