Don't call them over just yet! It sounds like La La Anthony isn't quite ready to end her relationship with Carmelo, and according to her, it's because family comes first. The beauty spoke in a new interview about her status right now, and though Carmelo allegedly impregnated another woman, she is still standing by his side.
This week, La La stopped by Wendy Williams's show, and when asked if the divorce is still on, the 38-year-old said, "Not right now. Marriages are filled with ups and downs, you know it, we all know it. We're just going through a time right now, but him and I are the best of friends and our number one commitment is to our son Kiyan. We have to set an example for Kiyan.”
And La La has been as mature as ever about this rollercoaster ride, even posting an Instagram video of Kiyan and Carmelo playing basketball for Father's Day and thanking him for being such a great role model for their son. Prior to that, the family spent Mother's Day together.
As OK! previously reported, La La decided to end their marriage in April, and shortly after, news surfaced that he got another woman pregnant and would flirt with numerous women over the course of their long relationship, telling the ladies, "La La is married, I'm not."
But it looks like someone has since changed their tune. Over the past few weeks, Carmelo has been desperately trying to win La La back, liking her Instagram photos and even calling her his "Earth" in a sweet birthday post.
