Lamar Odom’s Former Coach Puts Blame On The ‘Craziness’ Of The Kardashian Family For His Condition

Lamar Odom’s former coach and mentor Jim Harrick said he is “devastated” the ex Lakers star is in critical condition after being found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel, but criticized the Kardashian family for his downward spiral.

Harrick, who discovered Lamar’s talent at 14 and was a close person to him, said Lamar was troubled after being caught up in the drama in his divorce with estranged wife Khloe Kardashian.

“He told me it was the craziness that drove him out of Los Angeles. I'm sure it was the media attention,” he told The Daily Mail.

However, the coach, who took him under his wing following the death of Lamar’s mother, said Khloe’s presence with him at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and prayer is the only thing that may help him pull through.

Harrick called Kardashian “a wonderful young lady” and “a blessing for him,” but acknowledged that their split “hurt Odom,” but added that it was “probably his own fault.”
