After three days of heartbreaking news, Lamar Odom’s loved ones finally have something to celebrate. The NBA star opened his eyes and whispered after his breathing tube was removed. Does this mean Lamar is on the road to a miraculous recovery?
“He opened his eyes and made a sound,” a source told RadarOnline after his breathing tube was removed on Friday morning to decrease the risk of infection. “He opened his eyes around 10:30 a.m. PT and made a sound like a whisper.” According to an E! News report, Lamar saw Khloe Kardashian and said, "'Hey, baby,' gave her a thumbs up and then went back to sleep."
But the “improvements” in his condition doesn’t mean the 35-year-old is going to pull through, as the sounds and motions could be involuntary. According to RadarOnline, Lamar is “brain dead,” as “tests showed no function.”
