It's Settled! Leah Calvert To Share Custody Of Twins With Ex Husband, Corey Simms
As her marital troubles rage on, at least Leah Calvert has one less thing to worry about now. Her long-running custody battle with Corey Simms over their four-year-old twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah, has officially ended.
RadarOnline and various other sources report that the parents reached a mutual custody agreement in court earlier this week. Leah will get the girls for four nights a week, while Corey and his wife, Miranda Simms, will have them for the other three. Considering the fact that Leah just signed on for Teen Mom 2’s new season, let’s hope that the MTV cameras were there to capture the moment!

You may remember that towards the end of Teen Mom 2’s fifth season, Corey filed for full custody. On the reunion show, Leah claimed that she had no idea why he would do such a thing and try to hurt her for no reason, though there has been speculation that he filed in part because of her stint with drug use.
Reports also claim that both parties are “happy with the situation.” And if it matters at all, we're happy that Leah’s reported marital issues with Jeremy didn’t play a role in how much time she gets with her daughters.
Ali and Aleeah—the former of whom has a rare form of muscular dystrophy and often uses a wheelchair to get around—turn five next week. Seems like their birthday party will be a happy one!
