Leah Calvert Takes To Twitter To Confirm That She Did Not Steal Money From Her Daughter

And..she’s at it again. Rumors surfaced online this week that Leah Calvert stole almost $50,000 from her daughter Ali’s trust fund, but Leah wants you to know that this is completely inaccurate. And of course she took to Twitter, her favorite mode of communication, to explain!

Leah tweeted that the “source” was incorrect in saying that Leah stole from her daughter and said that it was “pathetic” that someone would say such a thing. Funny, because Leah used the same word just yesterday to describe Jeremy’s “other woman,” Brittany Musick! Anyway, Leah also tweeted that the money is in a different bank account from the one the “source” was looking at, aka that it’s still there. PS: Try to ignore Leah's grammatical errors!

Teen Mom 2 fans were kind of appauled when these rumors came out, because why would Leah steal from her own child, never mind her special needs child? Ali, unlike her twin sister, Aleeah, has a rare form of muscular dystrophy and often uses a wheelchair. Much of the money in her trust fund will eventually go towards her medical bills.

As for where all this money came from in the first place? In addition to Leah's hefty net worth from the show, The Ashley reports that each of the kids on Teen Mom 2 gets his or her own paycheck for each season they appear on the show, and that the moms most likely keep the money in separate accounts that the kids can access when they turn 18. It’s crazy to think that Leah took the kid's money for herself, especially because of Ali’s unique situation!
