Leah Messer is back on the market, or so she says! The Teen Mom 2 star has been telling friends that she called it quits with her boyfriend of nine months T.R. Dues. But the breakup confession could be part of her plan to win her twin daughters back!
“Leah said they broke up a little while ago,” a source told RadarOnline. “She said it just didn’t work out. He wasn’t a good boyfriend.”
The mother-of-three even added fuel to the fire by posting cryptic tweets hinting at a breakup. “Some people seriously get so butt hurt, like please stop thinking you’re so cool doing dumb s—t. #sorrynotsorry,” she tweeted. The next day she retweeted, “One of the biggest mistakes you can make in life is letting people stay in your life far longer than they deserve.”
But could the split be staged? “They are very much together, and live as a family with her daughters and his sons,” another source told Radar.

The insider believes the breakup is an act to help her win back custody of her daughters Ali and Aleeah, 6. “Leah knows it doesn’t look good for her to have a new man in the house already,” the source said. “She wants to look like a stable single mom to the judge in order for her to get her girls back.”
