Liam Hemsworth Announces New Film Project Amid Divorce From Miley Cyrus

Liam Hemsworth isn’t letting his recent divorce from Miley Cyrus get to him. TheHunger Games actor, 29, announced on August 28 that the film he worked on, Killerman, is slated to premiere on August 30.
Liam took to Instagram to share the news of his latest project. "Excited to announce a movie I worked on called Killerman will be released in the USA on August 30th," Hemsworth wrote in a long caption.
He continued, "I’m incredibly proud of the work everyone did on it. It was an absolute honor to work with my friend Emory Cohen again, one of my favorite actors, Malik Bader, an extremely creative and intelligent director, and the brilliant Ken Seng for his work as Director of Photography."
"Blood, sweat and tears were shed from all who were involved,” the Isn’t It Romantic actor wrote. “Independent film making is always a tough thing to pull off and I just want to thank all the hard-working people who helped make it happen. @killermanofficial."
According to IMDB, the crime drama is about a “New York City money launderer who wakes up with no memory and millions of dollars in stolen cash and drugs,” which leads him to “scour the streets in search of answers while trying to dodge a crew of violent and crooked cops.”

Liam filed for divorce from the “Slide Away” songstress, 26, on August 21, only 11 days after the former couple announced their separation.
The Independence Day: Resurgence actor has been keeping out of the public’s eye before this announcement.
Meanwhile, Miley has been making headlines while out with her rumored girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter and her performance at the VMAs on August 26.
