Back in January, Variety reported that Lily would be join the cast of a new adaption of Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables for BBC One. But this weekend, pictures of the characters were finally released.

On Instagram, the UK-born actress posted a picture of her dressed up as Fantine. Her caption read “First look! I'm so thrilled to finally share Fantine with you. Just wait until you see her tragic transformation. More #LesMiserables to come...”

The mini-series will attempt to further unpack the Les Miserables story and will focus on the relationship between Valjean and Javert as its told in the book, not the musical. Actors Dominic West and David Oyelowo have been cast to play the duo.
