Lisa Vanderpump made a memorable appearance at Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor's wedding on June 29. However, she revealed she almost skipped out on the nuptials after her mother's funeral was delayed.
The Vanderpump Rulesstar's mother sadly passed away on June 17, just several days before the ceremony.
Though the 58-year-old attended the Kentucky wedding, she confessed she almost didn't make it. Ultimately, she attended to show her support for the newlyweds.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality revealed why she almost didn't attend at Los Angeles' Project Angel Food’s 12 Millionth Meal event on July 18.

"I didn’t think I would go because my mother just passed, but then the funeral was delayed, so then I wanted to go because Jax, he’s really, he’s kind of grown up with me," Lisa said.
She continued, " I don’t know if he’s ever grown up. But he’s grown up with me. You know and I wanted to be there for them both, I love them. I love all the Vanderpump kids very much."
Brittany, 30, and Jax, 39, wedded in front of 240 guests; many of their Vanderpump Rules family were in attendance. Castmates like Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, Ariana Madix, Scheana Shay and Lala Kent toasted the happy couple.
