Love & Hip Hop: New York star Rah Ali is mourning the loss of her child. The reality star, who was only five months pregnant, gave birth to a daughter who only lived for several minutes. Rah’s close friend and confidant Nicki Minaj is reportedly providing her with comfort during this difficult time.

According to a source close to the 35-year-old VH1 star, on Sunday, May 26, her water broke and she began experiencing contractions.

She was rushed to the hospital where she later gave birth, but the baby died shortly after delivery.

The source claimed that Rah’s premature birth came as a shock to her healthcare professional. Up until her early labor, she was reportedly having a healthy and normal pregnancy.
