Madonna Is Moving Her Family To Lisbon So Her Son Can Be A Soccer Star

Madonna is a singer, actress, pop culture icon….and soccer mom? Following months of visits to Portugal, the “Vogue” singer, 59, is reportedly moving her entire family from New York to the Portuguese city of Lisbon so that her son David Banda can attend an elite training facility there. The Portuguese weekly magazine Visão even reported, “Madonna is no longer a tourist, she now lives in Lisbon.” Click through to find out about Madonna’s big move!
According to the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã, Madonna’s son David has been accepted into the S.L. Benfica soccer club, which he tried out for in the spring.
The newspaper also reported that David will even begin attending a French high school in the city, which Madonna was spotted touring in May.
The singer has even reportedly bought a home in the town of Sintra, 17 miles outside the city.

And while it’s a huge move, Madonna is supportive of her son’s soccer goals. “Dream Big,” she captioned this adorable photo of David while watching a soccer match.
Madonna’s move to Portugal comes just a few months after the singer adopted twin girls from Malawi, making her a mom of six.
