Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Are Ditching Tradition When It Comes To Their Child’s Wardrobe

Out with the traditional royal attire and in with the casual, laid back baby clothes! According to a source close to the royals, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be going for a more modern approach when it comes to dressing their child. Scroll through for all the details.
“I really don’t think this baby will be dressed in smocking and knee-high socks the way Kate Middleton’s children have been,” Sarah Dixon, a former maternity nurse who has worked with the royals' social circle, told People.
“I think she will be a very modern parent and will probably take more guidance from friends such as Amal Clooney than she will from Kate," the source added of Amal, 41, and George Clooney's parenting style with twins Alexander and Ella, 22 months.
And while Kate, 37, has used Queen Elizabeth's vintage Silver Cross stroller over the years — which has been in the family for generations — Sarah mentioned that fans probably shouldn't expect Meghan and Harry to be using it.

“Amal has a Bugaboo stroller for the twins, and I can see her going with their modern designs rather than the Silver Cross,” the insider said. “Meghan has a very individual style, and she will incorporate that when she’s shopping for her baby."
Perhaps the former Suits actress will take some baby fashion advice from BFF Serena Williams, who shares her daughter, Olympia, 19 months, with husband Alexis Ohanian. The professional tennis player previously shared that she and Meghan often give each other advice.
Only time will tell! As OK! readers know, Meghan is set to give birth any day now.
