Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are coming back to the small screen! No, not in another televised wedding, but in the form of a Lifetime TV movie! The network released photos of their new movie Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal, the anticipated sequel to their 2018 film Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.
While the first film dramatized the start of the royal couple's relationship, the sequel will document their first year of marriage.
Supernatural actress Tiffany Smith will portray the Duchess of Sussex, taking over the role from Parisa Fitz-Henley.
London-based actor Charlie Field will play the Duke of Sussex, helmed by Murray Fraser in the first movie.
Lifetime released new details about the romance flick. The movie will explore Meghan and Harry's relationship and will be "pulling back the curtain to reveal the untold joys and challenges of life inside the royal family during their pivotal first year of marriage. Beyond blending their families and cultures, Harry and Meghan’s core values are put to the test as they try to find the balance between honoring royal tradition and staying true to their beliefs.”
Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal will air on Lifetime on May 27 at 8 p.m ET.
