With just a few more weeks to go for his eight-month prison sentence, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's wife Lauren is itching for him to come home! She made a hilarious joke about the Jersey Shore star's impending release on Sunday, July 21.

Lauren, 34, cracked a joke on Instagram about Mike's upcoming release from jail.

“Waiting for my husband to get out like,” Lauren captioned the snap.

She rocked a chic ensemble for Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese's son CJ's baptism. She sported a tight black dress, a cheetah-print shawl, sunglasses and looped her blonde tresses into a loose bun.

Fans took to the comments to advocate for Mike's freedom. The Jersey Shore Instagram account wrote, "#FREESITCH." One fan commented, "#Free Sitch!!!!#get out of jail free!"

Mike and Lauren married in November 2018 before he entered jail.

The reality star is currently serving time at the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in upstate New York for tax fraud. He is scheduled to be released on September 13.
