Well, you know what they say: the couple that skateboards together, stays together. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were kickin' it old-school style today with a couple of skateboards in Los Angeles.

Newly blonde Miley showed off her Pilates bod in short black shorts, a white tank top and a red bikini top. She's also rocking some John Lennon-like sunglasses. We're a little worried that we are not hating this outfit. Liam's only clothing item of note is his blue knit hat. Hey, Liam: if your fiancée is wearing a bikini top, you can probably lose the knit hat.

From these pics, it seems that Miley was more adept with the board (Liam seems to give up and walk a lot), but we'll never know for sure. Anyway, props to Miley for being true to her word! Shortly before this excursion, she was Tweeting that she "just wants to skateboard" and was looking for a Chanel — yes, Chanel — board. She also Tweeted about her frustration with the paparazzi though, so this totally adorable photo op is a little surprising.
