The department stated that their members take a leave of absence, “for various reasons, many of which are personal in nature.”
Brendan’s leave of absence comes shortly after the cop strolled through New York with the “Over You” singer and wore a navy NYPD t-shirt on July 18.
The newlyweds also made headlines when Miranda shared a video of her husband shirtless doing laundry to promote her new single, “It All Comes Out In The Wash.”
The country singer and cop got secretly married on February 16.
