After two years together, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have officially called it quits! The news came as a shock to fans, but cracks in the couple’s relationship were clear to see beginning late last year. So what went wrong between the beloved country star and her singer beau? In February, an insider told OK! that Miranda, 34, was no longer interested in maintaining a relationship back home while out on her Livin’ Like Hippies tour. “She saw some hot guys on her tour and realized she’d rather keep her options open right now,” the source claimed.
According to the pal, Miranda didn’t give Anderson much warning either. “It was harsh too. Anderson didn’t see it coming, and she offered no explanation aside from the fact that she didn’t want to be tied down anymore,” spilled the insider.
Signs that the couple split were evident. Miranda hasn’t posted a pic of Anderson, 29, to her Instagram since January, while Anderson’s last pic of Miranda was this one, which he posted on her birthday back in November.

Miranda was also interested in being “a hot bachelorette for a while,” the insider claimed, adding that she was tired of being “compared to ex-husband Blake Shelton,” who’s been dating Gwen Stefani for two years now.
“At heart, she really is a love junkie,” the source told OK!
As for whether or not Miranda and Anderson could ever get back together, an insider told Us Weekly, “They have spent a lot of time apart, but potentially could end up back together. The love is still there.”
