RadarOnline.com has learned that the Nashville R&B singer was arrested on March 4, 2007, in Hamilton County, Tennessee, for driving without his headlights on.
However, the headlights were the least of East’s worries. According to Sheriffs records, cops noticed the smell of marijuana and found an ounce of pot in the car. East admitted to “smoking a bowl” the previous night.

From there, East was charged with reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.
