MTV Confirms Cheyenne Floyd Is Joining ‘Teen Mom OG’

Cheyenne Floyd is officially the newest Teen Mom OG star! Days after the former Are You The One? star shared a behind-the-scenes pic of her filming, MTV officially confirmed Cheyenne, her baby daddy Cory Wharton, and their daughter Ryder are joining the Teen Mom OG cast.
MTV took to the Teen Mom Instagram to announce the news. The account shared a photo of Cheyenne holding her baby girl Ryder. The caption read, “Welcome to the #TeenMomOG family, Cheyenne!”
Rumors have been swirling for months that Cheyenne was signed on to the franchise as a replacement for Farrah Abraham, who was fired from TMOG last year. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup first broke the news in June.
However, this is the first time MTV has confirmed the rumors. In addition to Cheyenne, the network has also added Bristol Palin to the cast. The original girls are not exactly thrilled about the new additions.

Catelynn Lowell told Kailyn Lowry on her podcast Coffee Convos that she felt it was “weird” MTV was adding new people to the mix. Her husband Tyler Baltierra didn’t like that MTV never told them about the decision directly.
“We started a franchise, built it, sustained it for 10 years, I think we deserve the respect to know what’s going on when you’re doing a major franchise shift to something we helped build, create and sustain. I feel like that’s more of respect thing,” he said.
