The fun is over before it even began! After announcing their return to reality TV as a duo in March, reports have revealed that Bravo has axed Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak’s upcoming spinoff show, NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches.
The show was expected to follow Leakes and Zolciak as they took a trip from Atlanta, Georgia, to Los Angeles, California -- which would have made for some guaranteed laughs!
But according to reports, Leakes and Zolciack will no longer be embarking on their journey!
The reports on the show’s cancellation claim that scheduling conflicts prevented the reunited besties from being able to shoot for the show. And it makes sense that their agendas may have been pretty full, seeing that Zolciak is filming the fourth season of her Bravo show Don’t Be Tardy in Atlanta and Leakes is busy shooting for ABC’s reboot of the variety show To Tell the Truth.

However, many are questioning if Leakes’ decision to leave The Real Housewives of Atlanta may have also played a role in the series being pulled for now. A source speaking to RadarOnline.com said that Leakes was offered the spinoff show with Zolciak in an attempt to get the RHOA vet to stay for the show’s upcoming eighth season.
Leakes made the shocking announcement in June that she’d be leaving RHOA. So many fans of the show are now convinced her spinoff was pulled since she will now no longer be appearing as a full-time housewife on the show!
In her statement on her departure from RHOA, Leakes claimed that she wanted to pursue other projects. But a second source told RadarOnline.com that Leakes was actually pushed out due to her negative attitude, and many are now wondering if her spinoff was also affected by her reported run-ins with the show's producers and other staff members!
