After a brief time away from the stage, NeNe Leakes will be making her return to Broadway in November as she takes on the role of Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago!
The big news was revealed on Thursday, with Leakes taking to her Instagram to celebrate her latest gig.
"I'm so excited to say I am headed back to BROADWAY in CHICAGO as Matron Mama Morton!" she wrote. "#neneismama #doingwhatilove #broadwaybaby #movingbacktonework."
Leakes is already hard at work on perfecting her role as well, with the actress and reality TV star showing off a photo of her rehearsals for the part just one day before sharing her new role with her fans!

Leakes made her Broadway debut in 2014 as the wicked stepmother in Cinderella.
Over the summer, she announced her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta after seven seasons on the show.
But with her successful HSN clothing line, new Broadway role and her spot on ABC’s revival of the variety show To Tell the Truth, Leakes is making quite the smooth transition into her post-RHOA life!
