Simpson already has a 5-year-old son, Bronx, from her marriage to her ex-husband Pete Wentz. But Ross told Us Weekly that that he and Simpson are looking forward to expanding their crew.

He also talked lovingly about his new wife and how much he is enjoying married life.

“It’s the best thing ever. I actually want to get back to her, although I’m excited to be on the carpet — it’s incredible,” Ross said on the premiere's red carpet. “I wish she didn’t leave but there’s a lot going on here.”

Ross added, “I’ve been with her now for a while so it just feels right. I’m happy to say she’s my wife.”

Ross and Simpson were married on Aug. 30 at the Connecticut home of Ross’ mom, music legend Diana Ross. The couple dated for close to a year before getting engaged in January.
