Nick and Vanessa Lachey were glowing on Saturday as they celebrated the upcoming birth of their second child with a lovely baby shower.

"Today was a good day! The perfect 'sprinkle' of love," Vanessa captioned a photo she posted to Instagram of Nick holding her baby bump.

Just one day earlier, Vanessa shared an image of her family’s Halloween festivities! She dressed like Captain Hook, Nick was Peter Pan and their 2-year-old son Camden looked precious as a crocodile.

The couple announced Vanessa was pregnant with a baby girl on Nick’s Instagram back in July. “Can’t think of a better way to celebrate 3 years of marriage to my beautiful @VanessaLachey than this! #family,” Lachey captioned the image.
“We’re expecting a little girl, beginning of next year,” Nick told Us Weekly in September. “I get the best of both worlds: I get a son and now I’m going to have the experience of a little daughter, which will be a completely different, mind-blowing moment for dad. On a personal side, things could not be in a better place and I could not be more excited. It’s great.”
The proud father also talked about his son!
“He’s growing like a weed and he seems like he’s changing literally by the day,” he said. “It’s just a cool time. It’s them finding their personality and really starting to get their vocabulary… talk in these full sentences and you're like ‘Where did this come from?’ It’s just crazy.”

Nick and Vanessa were married in July 2011 and welcomed Camden in September 2012. The super cute family covered Parents back in June, just one month before they announced Vanessa’s pregnancy.
