In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, Nicki opens up about an abortion she had after getting pregnant during her teenage years. “I thought I was going to die. I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I’d ever gone through. It’d be contradictory if I said I wasn’t pro-choice,” she says. “I wasn’t ready. I didn’t have anything to offer a child.”

She also opened up about a longterm relationship she had been in with Safaree Samuels, which ended earlier this year! Only dedicated fans probably knew that she was even in a relationship, considering she kept her private life quite separate from her public image! She said about the split, “I struggled with, ‘Do I express these feelings?’ And I decided there’s no reason for me to hide. I’m a vulnerable woman, and I’m proud of that,” she said. Who knew?!

In a recent interview with GQ, Nicki revealed that she used to have a regular job before she reached global stardom. The 32-year-old was a waitress at Red Lobster as a teen-and it didn’t end well!

During an interview with Billboard, she admitted, after working with Bey on the “Flawless” remix, “There’s something about her work ethic that always made me feel like no matter how hard stuff gets, I’m not allowed to complain.
