OK! Exclusive: Joe Manganiello Is Shocked By Sofia Vergara's Carb-Aholic Diet!

She definitely doesn’t look like it, but Sofia Vergara loves her carbs! We know, we’re shocked too, and we aren’t the only ones. Her fiancé Joe Manganiello apparently didn’t know what he was getting himself into when he got engaged to the actress, and now he is flipping out over her carb-aholic diet!

A source tells OKMagazine.com exclusively, “Joe can’t believe it and it wasn’t until Manolo her son assured him she wasn’t going through some comfort-eating carb binge – it’s just normal! “ This must be part of the reason Sofia is always seen heading to the gym in her funky-patterned leggings. though she’s admitted before that she hates exercising!

She told the New York Times back in 2013, “For me it’s punishment. It’s not like, “Oh, let me relax and go to the gym.” It’s not my “me time” or my fun time. No. It’s my torture time. So of course I try to avoid it or make excuses every time. But I do try to do it at least three times a week if I’m not shooting. I wish I loved it. Believe me, I wish.”

Beauty really is pain! But considering Sofia has such an enviable body, Joe was understandably surprised that Sofia eats so much. “Neither of them can believe she’s not the size of a house, but Sofia’s one of those freaks of nature who just doesn’t ever put on weight.” Well, there’s one more reason to envy Sofia.

And in addition to loving her carbs, she also is an avid baker, and loves making “sugary cakes” and “her banana bread is to die for,” which men would usually be ecstatic about. But not Joe.

The actor, who has a pretty amazing body himself, “says if he even takes a bite of one of her treats he pays dearly for it in the gym the next day.”
