Sean and Charlize began dating in 2013 before getting engaged in December 2014, but Charlize reportedly ended their union, and fellow actress Minka Kelly may be part of the reason why!

Minka and Sean apparently “hit it off” back in 2013, after meeting at a gala he hosted and they had “instant chemistry,” a source tells OK! Magazine exclusively. The only issue? Minka was involved with Chris Evans at the time.

Still, “Sean kept in touch with Minka and made a point to check in often,” an insider says. One person who was not a fan of them keeping in touch? Charlize.

A source admits, “It was a bone of contention with Charlize.”

Well now that they’re both single, Sean has been “pulling out all the stops to impress” Minka, going as far as to pull some strings for her to have a birthday dinner with friends at The French Laundry in California’s Napa Valley, which is notoriously hard to get into.
