Omari Hardwick received a ton of backlash from Beyoncé's fans after a video of him awkwardly kissing her twice at the 50th Annual NAACP Image Awards was posted on Saturday, March 30. Read on for all the details.
Omari, 45, was seen chatting with Beyoncé, 37, and her husband Jay-Z at the annual event.
He posed for a photo with Jay, 49, before beelining over to the "Single Ladies" singer for not one... but two kisses on the cheek.
Social media was not amused by Omari's move. "This is why they don’t go anywhere because the commoners take it to far!" one wrote. "He didn’t have to double kiss her! Now she gotta get a new face."
Her fans, known as the Beyhive, swarmed his Instagram with bee emojis after they witnessed the interaction.
They did something similar to The Real cohost Tamera Mowry after she shared a flirty story about the "99 Problems" rapper.
