Happy Family? Paula Patton & Robin Thicke Spotted For The First Time Together Since Abuse Claims
56th GRAMMY Awards - Red Carpet
Paula Patton & Robin Thicke are trying to work things out.
After it was reported that the two have been attending family therapy together, following claims that Robin physically abused the couple’s son, Julian, the exes were spotted for the first time together as they left the same building on Tuesday.
The family has been lying low since news broke last week that Paula filed an emergency restraining order request against the “Blurred Lines” singer, which claimed he was excessively spanking Julian.
Both Paula and Robin looked pretty somber as they left the building within ten minutes of each other.
Julian’s principal and a school staff member supported Paula’s court filing and also said that they too had become concerned about the six-year-old and called Los Angeles’ Department of Children and Family Services, who is still investigating the matter.

While a judge denied Paula’s request to limit Robin’s custody to only daytime supervised visits, police were called to the actress’ home on Jan 13, when Julian didn’t show up for his visitation time with his dad.
A police rep later called the incident “a non-event” but did confirm: “it involved a child not wanting to go with someone.”
An insider told People that Julian is terrified to be with his dad. “Julian has made it clear he does not feel safe in his father’s presence, a fact confirmed today by the Malibu Sheriff’s Department determination — with Mr. Thicke present — that the child needed to remain with his mother,” the source claimed.
People also reported that since the police incident Paula and Robin have been attending family therapy; their first session was this weekend.
