Remember in July when Pete Davidson wiped his Instagram clean after filling it up with a whole bunch of PDA pics and videos with fiancée Ariana Grande? Well, he’s back on the social media site and better than ever before—at least she thinks so. Read on for the latest.

After a more than two-month absence from Instagram, Pete posted a super blurry selfie in which all you can really see is him standing in a doorway with something in his hand.
Comforted by the fact that it was the big return to the site, Ariana was quick to jump into his comments with some encouraging words including, “This is sick and your page looks cool never post again.”

She added another comment, which read “Where’s the mixtape?” either making a sarcastic inside joke or alluding that he may possibly be trying his hand at the music scene soon.
Either way, Pete has been on a roll lately, and the pop singer hasn’t been the only one to notice. During SNL’s season premiere over the weekend, the comedian appeared in nearly every sketch—quite different from his usual sporadic casting in the past.
And despite Ariana cancelling her appearance on the episode, there were several references to her relationship with Pete—including a spoof about how his co-star Kyle Mooney goes to great lengths to pretend to be Pete now that his celebrity has outshone his.
