Despite being caught a little off guard by the drama she’s encountered during her debut season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kim Fields has found quite the close friend in Phaedra Parks. And in her latest Bravo blog, Parks shared why she was so upset that her new bestie decided to leave the girls’ Miami, Florida, trip early!
With her breakdown over missing her hubby and her frustration over Glen Rice Jr.’s fight at the house in Miami, Fields quickly ditched her castmates and returned to Georgia to be with her family!
Parks helped ease Fields' worries during her emotional moment over her family. And she admitted in her blog that she was looking forward to hanging out with Fields during the rest of the trip!
“I was disappointed in the sense I wanted to spend more time with her, and I wanted her to enjoy herself, but she needed to do what was best for her,” Parks said about Fields decision to leave.

She added, “Kim has never been around a group of women like this before, and Lord knows it can be troubling at times.”
And when it came to the fight, Parks said she completely understood why Fields felt the need to remove herself from the house.
