Earlier today, a 40-year-old woman was arrested for attempting to break into Prince George's elementary school! She's currently in custody in London.

The authorities were called to Thomas's Battersea School after the woman was seen illegally on the property, according to the Daily Mail.

Reports say that George, 4, was not inside the school at the time of the break-in.

The young royal's first day of school was just last week. His father, Prince William, dropped him off. This is a scary start to the school year!

The suspect was arrested today on suspicion of attempted burglary and she's currently in custody in south London.

"We are working with the school, which is attended by His Royal Highness Prince George, to review its security arrangements after the incident," a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said. "Police were alerted and officers attended immediately after the issue came to light."
