It’s okay, Harry, we still love you! Prince Harry has revealed his heartbreak over his decision to miss his baby niece Princess Charlotte’s christening in July, with the royal joking that his absence likely didn’t sit too well with his older brother, Prince William!

While talking with Save the Rhino ranger Simson Uri-Khob, the Mail on Sunday reports that Harry took a dig at himself for missing the event!

“The Prince said 'What a bad uncle I am! I should really be there. But today I am here, this is where I want to be,’” Uri-Khob said about his chat with Harry.

Harry missed the christening due to plans in Nambia, South Africa, he had set ahead of his niece’s birth.

The gorgeous event was held at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate in Paddington, London. But we are certain that William and his wife, Kate Middleton, gave Harry some leeway!

Harry is still volunteering in Nambia, where he has been working to protect wildlife and help with the development of sustainable living environments.

But he has seen his niece, with Harry having his first meeting with Charlotte three weeks after her birth in May! Do you think Harry is a bad uncle for missing Princess Charlotte’s christening? Tweet us @OKMagazine or let us know in the comments section below.
