Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding may be just one month away, but that isn’t stopping the power couple from carrying out their royal duties! The engaged pair took a break from wedding planning on Wednesday, when they teamed up to attend the Commonwealth Youth Forum in London. While meeting with the world’s future leaders at the event, Meghan made quite an impression as she encouraged attendees to stick together and make an impact on the world.

Per usual, Meghan dared to depart from the conventional royal dress code at Wednesday’s event. She wore a sleeveless black and white striped dress by Altuzarraand, and paired it with a Camilla and Marc blazer, People reported.

While attending the forum, Meghan and Harry met with youth leaders from all over the world. Harry, who was recently named ambassador of the forum, praised his future wife in a speech he delivered on Monday.

“I am incredibly grateful that the woman I am about to marry, Meghan, will be joining me in this work, of which she too is hugely excited to take part in,” he shared.

During Wednesday’s meet-up, Meghan applauded attendees and encouraged them to effect change. “You’re so energized. You’ve got this umbrella to hold you together. It’s incredible. So stay in touch, maximize it,” she told them.

In addition to the Youth Forum, Meghan will also attend the Women’s Empowerment reception on Thursday. The former Suits actress has taken to her royal responsibilities with ease, and will no doubt become even busier after she and Harry finally tie the knot at Windsor Castle on May 19th.
