Will George & Amal Clooney Become Royal Godparents For Prince Harry & Meghan Markle?
Nov. 28 2018, Updated 6:55 p.m. ET
George and Amal Clooney were among the many celebrity guests invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding earlier this year, and their friendship may be deeper than many people knew! Sources revealed exclusively to OK! Magazine that George and Amal are being picked to be the godparents to Harry and Meghan’s baby.
Meghan is due in May of 2019. The Duchess of Sussex announced the news on the first day of their first official Royal Tour.
The source told OK!, “They’re much closer than the headlines let on.” George has reportedly been running in the same philanthropic circle as Harry, which has led to their tight friendship.
The American actor is already suspicious that he is going to be the godparent. The source said he “told a couple of people that he has a strong hunch.”
