Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Finally Reveal The Name Of Their Labrador Dog
Sept. 2 2018, Published 2:25 p.m. ET
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have put an unusual name to their labrador dog that they adopted earlier this summer.
Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith has revealed what they chose to name their pup.
It's Oz. No word yet on why they chose that, although its may have to do with their upcoming trip to Australia in October to coincide with the opening of the Invictus Games in Sydney.
News got out back in late August about Oz's adoption. The dog has reportedly joined them on short-term trips to their home in the Cotswolds as well as spending time with them at their cottage at Kensington Palace.

Meghan is an avid dog lover, so it didn't come as much of a surprise that she and Harry would eventually have one of their own.
She has two others: a beagle named Guy, and a labrador-shepherd named Bogart, the latter of which is staying with a friend in Los Angeles.
