Prince William & Kate Middleton Take Their Kids On A Woodsy Adventure
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis got to play in the mud ahead of Kate Middleton’s “Back To Nature” garden opening in Chelsea! The young royals spent their Sunday in the trees with Kate and Prince William on May 19. Scroll through to see the photos!
Princess Charlotte, 4, swung barefoot in a floral dress from a knotted rope swing.
Her older brother, 5, also ran around the garden with no shoes. In one photo the older siblings sat side by side as they rinsed off dirt from their feet in a creek.
Prince William, 36, assisted his youngest son, 1, in also having a turn on the swing. The father-of-thee wore a casual blue button-down and brown khakis to the garden opening.
The Duke of Cambridge also appeared to help out Prince George in building a makeshift wooden bow and arrow.
Kate, 37, dressed similarly to her daughter and wore a floral printed gown. Despite being in a pair of wedges she ran around the new garden with her kids.
In a statement ahead of the unveiling The Duchess of Cambridge said, “In recent years I have focused much of my work on the early years, and how instrumental they are for outcomes later in life. I believe that spending time outdoors when we are young can play a role in laying the foundations for children to become happy, healthy adults.”
