Prince William & Prince Harry Still Haunted By Their Last Words To Mom Princess Diana

Will and Harry explained that while on holiday at the Queen’s Scottish retreat Balmoral, they received a phone call from their mom Princess Diana, who was in Paris with Dodi Al Fayed, but they were too busy playing with their cousins, Peter and Zara Phillips, to stay on the phone long.
“I think Harry and I were in a desperate rush to say 'goodbye', 'see you later', and 'we're going to go off'... If I'd known what would happen I wouldn't have been so blasé about it,” William explained. “But that phone call sticks in my mind quite heavily.”
“If I’d known that that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother, the things I would have said to her,” Harry admitted. “Looking back on it now it is incredibly hard. I have to deal with that for the rest of my life.”

The next morning, the boys’ father Prince Charles told them their mother had died. “This is the first time the two of us have ever spoken about her as a mother,” Harry confessed in this clip from the documentary. “It was arguably probably a little bit too raw until this point. It's still raw.”
Despite the pain of her passing, Harry says he can “still feel the hugs she used to give us” and can hear “her laugh in my head.” Will agreed, saying that even at his wedding to Kate Middleton, “I did really feel that she was there.”
In this clip from the film, the brothers also revealed that Diana was “one of the naughtiest parents” who would have been “an absolute nightmare” of a grandma to Prince George and Princess Charlotte because she would have let them have too much fun.
The documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy airs Monday, July 24, on itv at 9pm. What do you think of Will and Harry’s revelations? Let us know in the comments below.
