Royal family to the rescue! Defending those closest to them clearly runs in the family as Prince William released a statement that showed his support for Prince Harry and his girlfriend Meghan Markle.
It’s been just a few weeks since Prince Harry released an unprecedented statement defending his then rumored girlfriend, Meghan, against internet trolls.
However, after multiple outlets reported that William was unhappy with Harry’s comments the Duke released a statement of his own denying those claims.
“The Duke of Cambridge absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him,” the statement read.

A royal source also told The Telegraph: “They don't issue statements like that without talking to each other, and they talked about the Meghan Markle statement extensively in advance of it being put out.”
Prince Harry is currently on a 14-day tour of the Caribbean and is set to return to England on December 4th, while Meghan was recently spotted out on the town with fellow actress Priyanka Chopra.
The actresses enjoyed a girls’ night out, which Priyanka documented on Instagram.
Meghan recently wrapped filming her hit show, Suits, and is rumored to be planning a getaway with her new beau following his return from the Caribbean.
