PHOTOS'All Tears!' Inside Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas' 'Emotional' Wedding

As OK! Magazine readers know, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas recently tied the knot in India last weekend and it was quite the celebration! Indian weddings are traditionally known for being glamorous and while the famous couple's nuptials were no different, their main ceremony was apparently pretty "emotional." In an interview with People, the Quantico star and her new husband sat down to talk about their beautiful wedding.
“Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day,” Priyanka, 36, shared. “But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be.”
Apparently it was Nick's, 26, idea to and have not one but two ceremonies in India to celebrate their different backgrounds. “It melted my heart,” added his wife. “Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special.”

The actress wore a gorgeous hand-beaded and embroidered Ralph Lauren gown which featured a wearing a stunning 75-foot long veil for their Christian ceremony. She was escorted down the aisle by her mother Madhu. Her father, Ashok died of cancer in 2013.
“It was all tears. All tears,” Priyanka said. “I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.”
Nick also agreed that the whole experience was emotional. "The emotions were running high during the ceremonies, I think especially during the Western wedding for me,” he says. “You know you think your whole life about that moment. Honestly, I could not have imagined it would be as perfect as it was. It was highly emotional.”
